Built in Wardrobes

Built-in wardrobes should not only compliment the home, but should also appear to be part of the original house. Door styles should also compliment the period and style of your existing doors.

Walk through our gallery of photos to view how our attention to detail considers the architraves, skirting boards and cornices of the houses displayed.
Doors With Backbone wardrobes are designed to have ample hanging, drawers and shelving, with the option of wide or standard drawers, pull-out shelves for shoes and trouser-matics (in two sizes).

These are all part of our custom design service.

Awkward rooms require clever solutions and our consultants can create a pleasing and workable design for:
  • Rooms with many doors or windows
  • Long narrow rooms
  • Rooms with chimney breast/fireplace
  • Angled ceilings e.g. attics

Maximise Access Wardrobe internal design should allow easy access to all your clothes. Remembering hinged doors provide greater access than sliding doors and are also a much more attractive backdrop in a room.
Many people require lots of hanging with some drawers (wide or narrow) and shelving.
Young children and babies require more shelving than hanging.
We design with individual clients needs in mind.

Accessories including mirrors, tie-belt racks and belt hooks - can be fitted to the backs of hinged doors.
Additionally, wide drawers, pull-out shoe shelves and “Trouser-matics”, can increase the capacity and give greater functionality to a robe.
